BHF introduce Mini Vinnie to teach hands-only CPR to children

30 November 2012

Following the success of their CPR advertising campaign fronted by no-nonsense actor Vinnie Jones, which has been viewed over 2.8 million times on YouTube and is accredited with saving the lives of 28 people, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) have launched a new TV advert.

The new campaign introduces Mini Vinnie, who is on hand to explain the basics of hands-only CPR to children until all schools can teach the important, life-saving techniques. Mini Vinnie guides children through each step of administering CPR, explaining clearly what you should do if “some numptey collapses in front of you and your Mum or Dad ain’t around”.

With the same matter-of-fact attitude as the man himself, and clear step-by-step instructions, the British Heart Foundation are hoping that this entertaining and memorable advert will help to save even more lives.
