Health services are to display CQC inspection ratings

All public and private healthcare organisations are to clearly display the Care Quality Commission inspection rating.

The help the public make more informed choices about their care, they’ll now be able to see how their local public and private healthcare organisations are performing.

It’s the new rules brought to Parliament that will result in hospitals, GP surgeries and care homes displaying the inspection rating awarded by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the body that regulates and inspects health services in England.

The aim is to improve transparency in healthcare and driving up standards across the country.
